I’m Desmond Jasper, fitness coach and athlete who blends real-life experience with science-backed training to deliver results that last. My approach goes beyond workouts; I focus on teaching you the habits and principles that will keep you strong, healthy, and performing at your best for years to come.
I did not wake up disciplined. I had to build it.
Like a lot of people, I knew what I should be doing long before I actually did it. I struggled with consistency, motivation, and closing the gap between who I was and who I wanted to be. If I am being honest, that is still a daily practice. Discipline is not something you arrive at. It is something you earn over and over again.
Sports gave me structure early on. Weightlifting in college is where I fell in love with training. Bodybuilding taught me what real discipline looks like when motivation disappears. Training stopped being about aesthetics and became a way to prove to myself that I could do hard things even when I did not feel like it.
Since then, I have competed in physique shows, run multiple half marathons, completed a full marathon, and pushed myself through HYROX races that tested both my body and mind. I also owned and ran a functional training gym in San Diego, Steady State Performance, where I coached real people with real lives.
That experience shaped how I coach today. I am not here to sell perfection. I am here to help people build discipline, consistency, and systems that actually work in real life. That is why I connect so deeply with my clients. I have been where they are, and I know what it takes to keep showing up. what I coach.

I’ve seen firsthand how powerful a simple, sustainable approach to fitness can be. If you shift your mindset from “I want this by a certain date” to “I want to be healthy for life,” you unlock a completely different level of progress. Longevity beats quick fixes every time.
I blend science-backed training with real-world experience. That means no fads, no gimmicks, and no shortcuts, just the right habits, consistently applied, for the long run. My role is to teach you everything I know so you can thrive without me.
